PRODUCTS I AM CURRENTLY LOVING

I have always been a fan of trying out new beauty products that I can include in my beauty routine. As well as testing out new and exciting products I have a few that I can never run out of as I would be totally lost without them. These products have worked wonders on my skin and my hair.

Moroccan Oil Hydrating Styling Cream

I discovered this product a few years ago at my previous hair salon. They only used Moroccan Oil products and I would leave with the softest, most beautiful looking hair. My hair stylist recommended I use the Hydrating Styling Cream, as it not only hydrates but conditions and tames frizzy hair. I faced many problems with my hair as I could never get it exactly how I wanted it to look. My main issue was that it was totally lacking in life due to me bleaching it myself (very badly!) and using a lot of heat on it almost everyday. I am always testing out new products for my hair but find that I cannot live without my Moroccan Oil Hydrating Styling Cream. Starting with clean wet hair I run a full pump of this through the middle and ends to hydrate it before I blow dry. If I ever miss this step my hair begins to feel dry and looks incredibly dull! This is a must in my hair care routine!

No7 Intelligent Colour Foundation

I have always loved N07's make up range as they work beautifully on my skin (my skin type is normal). I bought this product because I was intrigued by its name and what it claimed to be able to do. As I put the Intelligent Colour Foundation on my skin for the first time I instantly fell in love with the texture. It is so velvety soft and it glides on to the skin perfectly. I use my hands with this product as I feel as though it blends easier with the warmth from them. This is a sheer foundation that gives your skin a glow and slight colour to make you look more awake and fresh. It is perfect for those days when you don't want to wear a full face of make up but also don't want to go out with a totally fresh face. I use this product pretty much every day without fail!

Murad Essential-C Day Moisture SPF 30

I received a tester from Murad around two months ago. I had never heard of the brand before this but thankfully they came up to me at House of Fraser in Victoria, London and offered me a sample of their Essential-C Day Moisturiser that also doubles as a sun protectant with SPF 30. This citrus scented bottle of goodness came into my life and I will never be able to let go! I often find, with face sun protectants, that they are thick and leave my face feeling oily and dirty however this product leaves my skin glowing! It soaks into the skin pretty quickly and works well underneath my make up. Most days I use this product on its own as my daily moisturiser. I love this!

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Skin Protectant

This product has been in my life for so long that I don't remember the time when I didn't use it! The Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Skin Protectant is the most amazing product that I own! I use it on my lips, on cuts, on dry skin, on my elbows, on my knees... I use it for EVERYTHING! I cannot live without this product! It is a super moisturising cream that can pretty much cure anything to do with dryness. I use this product mainly as a daily moisturiser on my lips (typically after I brush my teeth as I hate the feeling of dry lips). If you often suffer from dry lips I 100% recommend this product!

WINTER GLOW

How do I keep my skin looking fresh and glowing over the winter months?

I love the winter months for wrapping up warm in big faux fur coats and having cosy nights in with the fire lit while watching my favourite movies. However my skin hates the winter months. It turns dull and dry and makes me look as though I have never seen the light of day. For previous winters I have always fake tanned to keep my summer glow but this winter I haven't had the time to keep up with it all meaning I have had to take extra care in making sure my skin looks just as good without it. I have done a few things that have helped massively with keeping my skins glow from diet to skincare products to making sure that I exercise regularly enough.
First of all, my diet. I am vegetarian however I do try to eat plant based meals as often as I can, this means no dairy products! - I only drink cows milk with a cup of tea and only the tiniest splash! Other than that I drink plant based, my favourite is almond mi…

MY FAVOURITE NAIL VANISH COLOURS FOR WINTER

I feel it is time for a new beauty post and as I have already posted about my favourite beauty and make up products I thought I would do something a little different for the changing season. One of my favourite things to do on a lazy day is paint my nails. I have always painted my own nails (I've only gotten them done at a salon once!) because I can do them in my own home in my own time while I am watching a movie and eating snacks which you can't do in a salon. Having my nails painted always makes me feel a little bit more glamorous. even on those days when I have not got any make up on or touched my hair.

Summer was great but I always struggle with what colours to paint my nails as I am not the biggest fan of brightly coloured nail vanish so I usually stick to a nude or light pink for the summer. Autumn  however is the best time to give your nail vanish collection an update so I thought I would get together my favourite Autumnal colours that you can wear all the way through…

£8 PRIMARK CURLING TONG

I recently went into Primark and stumbled across a whole new range of products. There were hairdryers, curling tongs, straighteners.. in Primark.. All for under £10! This came perfectly timed as I had been really wanting to buy a curling tong for the summer. After imagining the damage these products could possibly do to my hair I decided that I just really needed to test them out and for £8 I didn't have much of an excuse not to.. so I bought the small curling tong.

The range consists of three types of curler, the small curling tong, a super skinny curling tong and a curling tong that is 1.5 inches thick and doubles as a straightening iron. They also do a hairdryer. I'm not 100% sure if they do any more products, these were the range that my primark had. All of these are being sold for £10 or less.

I have to admit I was pretty terrified of testing these curlers.. I am very protective of my hair and all I could think of what that video of the girl burning her hair off. (VIDEO
