Jeans, jeans, jeans

My pairs of jeans seem to have bread the last few months and I have ended up with a huge pile of jeans in the corner of my room with no space to put them! It is becoming a bit of an obsession (one that I absolutely love!) and therefore I decided that I would show off my favourite pairs of jeans. I wear these jeans all year round, either as my staple piece or paired with other items of clothing.

Jeans will always be my go to bottoms, more so than skirts or trousers, as they suit my lifestyle better. Living in the countryside means that wearing your best outfits every day often ends badly with something getting muddy or stained and therefore I will usually just throw on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt when I am lounging around at home. When I am not in the countryside I do still love to wear jeans and so I have a few more interesting pairs to save me from looking like I've just been on a dog walk.

These first jeans are the jeans I throw on when I am getting ready in a hurry and don't want to look like I haven't made any effort. I usually pair these with jeans with a t-shirt and my Adidas trainers. I don't often wear a jumper with these jeans, unless it is cropped or tight fitting, as they are not the most flattering when paired with another baggy item.

This next pair of jeans are amazing. They are so versatile and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. I mainly wear these in the winter time however I have been wearing them a lot recently. They are dark blue with a black coating. As I have had them for almost a year the black is beginning to fade and the blue is becoming more noticeable. For this look I styled them with a grey t-shirt and my loafers. This is a very typical, everyday, look for me.

Everyone needs a pair of black jeans. They are the go to item for every persons wardrobe, no matter their style. They are the most versatile out of all of the jeans. These particular ones are high waisted. I save these for smarter events as the black does not fade for a long time on these jeans.  For this look I have paired my jeans with a crop top and some black healed pumps.

How do I keep my skin looking fresh and glowing over the winter months?

I love the winter months for wrapping up warm in big faux fur coats and having cosy nights in with the fire lit while watching my favourite movies. However my skin hates the winter months. It turns dull and dry and makes me look as though I have never seen the light of day. For previous winters I have always fake tanned to keep my summer glow but this winter I haven't had the time to keep up with it all meaning I have had to take extra care in making sure my skin looks just as good without it. I have done a few things that have helped massively with keeping my skins glow from diet to skincare products to making sure that I exercise regularly enough.
First of all, my diet. I am vegetarian however I do try to eat plant based meals as often as I can, this means no dairy products! - I only drink cows milk with a cup of tea and only the tiniest splash! Other than that I drink plant based, my favourite is almond mi…

I feel it is time for a new beauty post and as I have already posted about my favourite beauty and make up products I thought I would do something a little different for the changing season. One of my favourite things to do on a lazy day is paint my nails. I have always painted my own nails (I've only gotten them done at a salon once!) because I can do them in my own home in my own time while I am watching a movie and eating snacks which you can't do in a salon. Having my nails painted always makes me feel a little bit more glamorous. even on those days when I have not got any make up on or touched my hair.

Summer was great but I always struggle with what colours to paint my nails as I am not the biggest fan of brightly coloured nail vanish so I usually stick to a nude or light pink for the summer. Autumn  however is the best time to give your nail vanish collection an update so I thought I would get together my favourite Autumnal colours that you can wear all the way through…

I recently went into Primark and stumbled across a whole new range of products. There were hairdryers, curling tongs, straighteners.. in Primark.. All for under £10! This came perfectly timed as I had been really wanting to buy a curling tong for the summer. After imagining the damage these products could possibly do to my hair I decided that I just really needed to test them out and for £8 I didn't have much of an excuse not to.. so I bought the small curling tong.

The range consists of three types of curler, the small curling tong, a super skinny curling tong and a curling tong that is 1.5 inches thick and doubles as a straightening iron. They also do a hairdryer. I'm not 100% sure if they do any more products, these were the range that my primark had. All of these are being sold for £10 or less.

I have to admit I was pretty terrified of testing these curlers.. I am very protective of my hair and all I could think of what that video of the girl burning her hair off. (VIDEO
